I must admit that I am apprehensive about preaching christianity to my muslim friends. Not that Im scared of them. More because Im not clear of the Islaam religion that I cant debate convincingly if I had to.
Anyway the recent burning Korans issue is such a shoker that I felt I had to give my 2 cents worth.
I firmly believe that my God doesnt expect aany christians to do something like that. Such an act is not of God's wisdoms because God wouldnt want his children to be in harms way and burning Korans would definitely put allt he americans and christians around the world in danger. its like going to war with half the world.
Yes positively a World War 3.
The pastor who had that stupid idea of burning korans needs tog et his head crewed on properly becaausee while His intentions are to create a big warning/statement across, he isnt thinking about allt he possible repercussions. I honestly believe that this idea isnt from God but from Satan. You may ask how Satan would be able to be led by a devil.
even pastors are human. Every human is driven by the need to prove themselves by getting things done. Maybe this pastor feels the need to prove to the world that Christianity is the only religion and thinks that by his church's effort, they could put that msg across. Point is..something like that can not be done by a mere human. God can prove Himself. He can prove it through us of course..but always with peace and love.
Honestly..the more I think about the repercussions to this issue..I get shivers....I can imagine the World War 2 coming all over again only this time...its Christians who receive it...scary.

new revelations...
K got 3 revelations to share...before i forget all of em, Im gonna do 1 first. :)
Got this while going through the lighting course at Esplanade..
during the course we learnt abt colour gels, mixing of colours etc and it occured to me that colour mixing with light isnt the same as colour mixng with poster colours.
In fact the main difference is...when you mix all the primary colours together (ROYGBIV) in a poster colour palette, you get black. BUT when you mix all the colours of the rainbow together with a prism...you get white!
which leads me to this conclusion...what man can do with mere human made colours..will only lead you back to sin. Just like how your own works would never save you from sin.
What God can do however..is bring you to the light. Only by his works of physics (and dont tell me he didnt create physics) brings u back to Him!
Wow!
Yap we can say that we too can divide light into the primary colours with a prism.Afterall, we've done it in ec school. BUT in that case...we werent the ones who came up with the colours to start with. In poster colours, humans made those colours from grinding up stuff like flowers, or insects..etc. Yet God's light is directly from Him.
What we learnt thoughout our lives...is our human understanding of how God works
Amen!
